White has certainly caught the eye in the Championship and his form under Marcelo Bielsa should excite plenty of teams in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old has made the step up to Championship football with ease and Liverpool would be foolish not to keep an eye on his development.

There have been several players to make the step up to the top flight from the second tier in recent years and White may well be the next.

Liverpool are well-stocked with young talented central defenders coming through their ranks, but White could be an astute piece of business in the long run if he develops into the player Brighton hope he can become.
