Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he is not targetting a move for Liverpool striker Danny Ings this summer.
Rodgers has said that Ings is not a player he is looking at in the window, due to Celtic already having three strikers at the club.
As quoted by the Daily Star, Rodgers said this:
Danny (Ings) is a fantastic player and has been really, really unfortunate for a few years with injury but I have got the three strikers at the moment and we don’t need any more.
We just signed young Odsonne Edouard on a permanent deal and he is a class act.

Despite admiring Ings as a player, Celtic will not be making a move for the striker in the coming months.
Ings has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs, including Southampton and Newcastle.
Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for Ings, after a tough two-year spell of injuries for the centre-forward.
The 25-year-old scored once last season, which was his first goal since 2015 – when he scored against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
