Former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam says he would drop Mohamed Salah for Kylian Mbappe, if push came to shove.
Mbappe has been linked with a summer move to Liverpool, with a weekend argument with Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel only adding fuel to the fire.
Speaking on The Monday Night Club on BBC Radio 5 Live, former Reds midfielder Adam revealed that he would drop Salah for the Frenchman, if he ever moved to Anfield:
I think Firmino is a massive link to how Liverpool play and what they try to do.
Salah and Mane have just been sensational. I’d go for Salah [to be dropped for Mbappe if he were to join].

In my opinion, the biggest risk when it comes to Liverpool potentially signing Mbappe is how it would affect the dynamic of the front-three.
Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been magnificent alongside one another for three seasons now, scoring 239 goals between them for the Reds.
Mbappe coming in would change things, however, either forcing Jurgen Klopp to alter his 4-3-3 formation or accept that one of the four wouldn’t start each week.
I believe Mbappe is so special that Liverpool would be foolish not to make a move for him, however, should he show even an inkling of interest in joining the Reds.
Despite being just 21 years of age, he has already scored more than 100 goals in his career, as well as winning the World Cup and three Ligue 1 titles.
If I was forced to replace any of the front-three with Mbappe, I would go for Salah, but that is said with a heavy heart.
I feel Firmino is too integral to this Liverpool side, in terms of his link-up play and intelligence, while Mane is a marginally superior all-round player to Salah, as highlighted by a higher pass completion rate in the Premier League this season (81.4% compared to 77.2%) and more tackles made per game (1.5 compared to 0.5).
