Crystal Palace captain Mile Jedinak believes his side will have to be at their very best if they are to hand Jurgen Klopp his first taste of defeat as Liverpool boss, report the Eagles’ club website.
Liverpool welcome Palace to Anfield this Sunday on the back of six games unbeaten in all competitions under Klopp.
And Jedinak is fully aware of the challenge that lies ahead for him and his team.
The Australian international said:
They’ve got a new manager, a new philosophy. The players that have been there a while will be adapting to his style, but we’re expecting a very, very difficult game.

Jedinak was full of nothing but praise for the former Borussia Dortmund man. The 31-year-old told cpfc.co.uk:
He’s a guy with vast experience in Germany. Very charismatic – and I’ve heard from a colleague of mine that the boys absolutely adored him at Dortmund.
The South London outfit had the better of Liverpool twice last season, with the Reds losing 3-1 on both occasions – something Jurgen will be desperate to put right.
The Eagles go into Sunday’s game without a win in four and Klopp will be hoping to extend that run as he goes head to head with Alan Pardew in what will be the first ever meeting between the two managers.
