Jose Enrique will stay at Liverpool for another season, according to James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.
The 29-year-old had just one year remaining on his current deal at Anfield and Pearce claims that the Spaniard is likely to see out his contract.
So Jose Enrique remains a #LFC player. Spanish left-back now looks set to leave on a free when his contract expires next summer.

Rodgers did not include Enrique in Liverpool’s pre-season tour and had the left-back training away from the main squad with Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli, who Liverpool successfully shifted.
Balotelli completed a one-year loan move to former club Milan and Borini joined Sunderland, where he was on loan during the 2013-14 season, for a fee rising to £10m.
However, the former Villarreal man failed to join the two Italians in leaving Liverpool after a move to West Brom fell apart and interest from Sunderland came to nothing.
Enrique joined from Newcastle in 2011 for a fee of £7m. After a promising start, injuries and a loss of form combined with his frequent social media posts mean that Enrique is somewhat of a comedy figure.
The signing of Alberto Moreno in the summer of 2014 and the recent emergence of Joe Gomez has meant that Enrique is no longer needed.
Perhaps domestic cup competitions or Europa League fixtures will provide a chance to attract a new club either in January or once his contract expires next summer.
