Former Liverpool striker El Hadji Diouf has hit out at two club legends Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.
The 34-year-old, who now plays for Sabah United, joined the Reds in 2002 for £10m before the World Cup in South Korea and Japan.
His terrific displays for Senegal in the tournament excited Liverpool supporters prior to his arrival, but he never lived up to his billing, managing just six goals in 79 outings for the Reds.
And having already accused Gerrard of being racist in September, Diouf has blasted him again in an interview with French Magazine So Foot.
“Steven Gerrard is a great club player but an egotist,” claimed Diouf.
“He didn’t care about Liverpool winning – all that mattered for him was getting on the scoresheet.”

Diouf also had plenty to say about Carragher, who retired from football in 2013.
He said: “The person I would least want to spend Christmas with is Jamie Carragher. I hate him.
“He was the biggest turkey I’ve seen on a pitch. I found him useless.”
Carragher made 737 appearances for Liverpool – second only to Ian Callaghan who racked up 857 – and won two FA Cups, three League Cups, one Champions League, and one UEFA Cup.
Diouf picked up a League Cup winner’s medal during his time at Anfield, and also managed to win the Scottish Premier League and Scottish League Cup with Rangers.
