Fabinho features in list of top 10 midfielders

Fabinho has made it into FourFourTwo‘s list of the world’s top 10 midfielders currently.

The Brazilian has been a magnificent signing by the Reds, becoming a monstrous presence in the middle of the park.

After a slow start, which was no great surprise as he adjusted to Jurgen Klopp’s system, he has become one of the key players at the club.

This latest list has seen Fabinho rank at No.9 in the world’s top midfielders, highlighting his current standing in the game.

Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne comes out on top, in a list that also includes the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Sergio Busquets.

In truth, Fabinho can almost feel a little hard done by not to feature higher than ninth.

Modric, Kroos and Busquets are all arguably past their best and none are as influential as the Liverpool star currently.

Once he returns from injury, Fabinho should continue to thrive, finishing higher in years to come.
