Sadio Mane was once again in stunning form on Wednesday night, as Liverpool beat Salzburg 4-3 at Anfield.
In what was a thrilling Champions League clash, the Senegalese scored the first goal of the night, finishing neatly after a brilliant one-two with Roberto Firmino.
Someone who clearly rates Mane extremely highly is Cesc Fabregas, who took to Twitter to discuss his brilliance:
Mané for me is top 3 players in the world and has been for a while. Top top level.

It is enormous praise from someone with huge pedigree in the game, but is he right?

Mane has been a remarkable signing by Liverpool since arriving from Southampton in the summer of 2016.
He has matured over time and Fabregas’ claim that he is one of the top three players in the world is not far off at all.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo still lead the way, with Virgil van Dijk also in the mix, but there is no more devastating left-sided player currently.
The likes of Neymar and Eden Hazard are more fashionable footballers, but Mane is far more effective.
It’s hard to argue against Fabregas, especially given the quality of his goal on Wednesday night.
