Cesc Fabregas has chosen Sadio Mane as his pick for the Premier League’s best player currently.
Mane has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season, scoring 15 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions.
At times, his performances have dragged the Reds over the finish line in matches, not least his stoppage time winner away to Aston Villa in November.
Liverpool are at a point where they possess numerous world class players, whether it be Alisson, Virgil van Dijk or Mohamed Salah, among others.
Mane is clearly a favourite of Fabregas’, though, with the World Cup winning midfielder confirming on Twitter that he is the best player in the Premier League:

It is hard to argue with Fabregas, considering the influence Mane has had this season.
On top of his goals, the 27-year-old has chipped in with seven assists.
He is the current favourite to win the prestigious PFA Player of the Year award over the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold, which speaks volumes about his quality.
Van Dijk still has a strong case for being Liverpool’s most important player, considering his vast influence, but Mane is at least on a par currently.
