Liverpool have finished their September action, following Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Sheffield United.
The Reds have played five times during the month, starting off with a 3-1 victory at home to Newcastle.
A 2-0 loss away to Napoli was followed by a crucial 2-1 triumph at Chelsea, before a win at MK Dons in the Carabao Cup.
The weekend victory at Bramall Lane was the perfect way to finish September and Liverpool’s official Twitter account has asked supporters to reveal their star man for the month.
It was Joel Matip who came out on top, with many haling the Cameroonian’s brilliance.

Matip’s form has been exceptional this season and he deserves all the praise heading in his direction.
The 28-year-old was a relatively unpopular figure this time last year, with his performances too often flattering to deceive.
Since Joe Gomez’s injury forced him out of the side, though, Matip has excelled in his place and was arguably Liverpool’s best player in the Champions League final.
He has been the Reds’ star man this month – here’s hoping his form continues into October.
Fabinho is also worthy of a mention, following an imperious September, while Adrian, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have all shone, too.
