Stephen Kelly has said that Harry Kane is a better player than Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino, and Liverpool fans have responded to this furiously.
Kane and Firmino are parts of some of the most free-scoring teams in the league, but both play vastly different roles in their sides. Kane is Spurs talisman, while Firmino is more the creator and link-up man in the Liverpool side, but obviously still scores many goals for the Reds.
Kane so far this season has netted three and assisted one so far this season, with Firmino scoring two and providing three assists.

I absolutely agree with what the Liverpool fans are saying, you can’t compare Kane and Firmino, they play different roles in their team. Although Kane is the born goal scorer, Firmino can still find the back of the net, but focuses more on link-up play and providing goals for his teammates.
There is no need to compare two players who have different styles of play, let alone say one is better than the other.
