Some Liverpool fans have been reacting to the latest news surrounding the completion of the 2019/20 Premier League season.
The Reds’ surge towards title glory has been agonisingly halted at the eleventh hour, due to the outbreak of illness worldwide.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are 25 points clear of Manchester City, with their triumph now only inches away, should the season restart at some point.
According to the Independent‘s Miguel Delaney, a plan is in place to get the campaign completed during the summer.
The idea is for the 20 Premier League sides to play their remaining fixtures behind closed doors in “World Cup-style” camps in London and the midlands, with the games played on training pitches.
The remaining 92 matches would be played every day, with multiple games played daily, ensuring it finally reaches its conclusion in good time.
The proposal is believed to have ‘drawn increased government backing’, as the authorities work on a way to tackle the issue.
These Liverpool supporters have been reacting to the news on Twitter, providing their thoughts on the idea.
What do we think of this?
Clubs being isolated in training camps and playing the remaining games similar to how a World Cup is played.
Seems like a practical solution but can imagine how underwhelming it’ll feel when we see Liverpool seal the title on a training pitch. https://t.co/xB1WPZkH9m

If the alternative is that we don't go onto win it then I'll take this solution.

Sounds good. Get the season finished at any cost. 4 matches a week, closed doors, whatever.
