Barcelona watched Rabiot against Liverpool

Barcelona remain interested in Liverpool target and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, with Mundo Deportivo claiming the Catalan giants were in attendance during Tuesday’s Champions League tie.

The 23-year old Frenchman has been heavily tipped to leave the Parc des Princes either in January or next summer, and the Reds are said to be one of the major sides interested in his services.

But Mundo Deportivo, as cited by Calciomercato, claim that Barça want to snap up the talented France international, and that they had representatives at Anfield for the Reds’ 3-2 victory over the Parisians.

The report claims that the Catalan club are looking to do a deal for a January switch for Rabiot, with the Frenchman ranking as the club’s biggest priority signing.

Rabiot played the entirety of the game as the French giants fell to a disappointing defeat, conceding a last minute winner from substitute Roberto Firmino.

While Rabiot is sure to be interested in a move to the Nou Camp, the promise of more regular football at Anfield could sway him in Liverpool’s direction.
