Real Madrid star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has named Liverpool stopper Alisson as one of the best three goalkeepers in the world.
The former Chelsea man picked the Brazilian, as well as Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Atlético Madrid’s Jan Oblak, leaving Manchester United star David de Gea off the list.
As reported by Mirror Sport, the Belgium international refused to picked a top spot choice, claiming he wouldn’t be able to pick from the three. Courtois said:
They are all great goalkeepers, but I do not know who is the best, I could not go for one.
It depends on the defence and also on the whole team, I think I have already shown that I am at a high level.
Ter Stegen and Oblak have both drawn high praise for consistent outstanding displays in La Liga, whereas Alisson has largely impressed since his high profile summer switch from Roma.
Alisson has started every one of Liverpool’s Premier League games this season, keeping a clean sheet on eight occasions.
