Real Madrid starlet Dani Ceballos wants to linked up with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, according to reports in Spain.
The highly rated midfielder turned down Barcelona to join Real Madrid in the summer, but has failed to establish himself in Los Blancos first-team so far this season.
The 21-year old has started just two La Liga games since moving to the capital, and it has been suggested that he is not happy with his current situation at the Bernabeu.
According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, the Spanish Under-21 international believes that he was given false assurances by Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane that caused him to snub the Catalan giants instead of the defending Champions League champions.
Due to his limited game time, Ceballos is concerned that he could now miss out on Spain’s World Cup squad.
Now it is being reported that he has his heart set on making a move to join Klopp at Liverpool. The German has registered an interest in him in the past.
If the Reds’ allow Philippe Coutinho to join Barcelona this month, it could pave the way for Ceballos to make the move to Merseyside.
