Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has been warned by Juventus that he is not the only option they are exploring this summer.
The Germany international is expected to depart Anfield this summer when his contract with the club expires, and Juventus have frequently been linked as a possible destination.
With less than six months left on his current deal, the 24-year old can sign a pre-contract deal with any foreign clubs, and the Italian giants haven’t hidden their admiration for him.
However, Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta, as reported by the Daily Mirror, has said;
He is one of the most interesting players on the market today, for his talent, but also because his contract ends next June.
It’s normal that (his) situation has attracted a number of suitors for him as a player.
We know we will face competition from the best clubs in the world. The final decision is up to the player himself.
If he decides to come to Turin we will be happy, otherwise we will look for other solutions.
Liverpool have already begun looking for possible replacements, with Napoli star Jorginho and fellow German international Max Meyer being linked in the last few days.
