Liverpool have shown a lot of quality in patches this season but there are undoubtedly areas that can do with some improvement.
It was fairly surprising in the run-up to the ongoing campaign that Liverpool opted against signing a new left-back in the summer, and it’s still clear to see that they are in need of a naturally left-sided defender.
Alberto Moreno has been tried and tested on several occasions but, as expected, has failed to convince Jurgen Klopp in the slightest.
However, James Milner has been used at left-back this season and considering it’s a totally unnatural position for the former England international, he’s done surprisingly well.
But this shouldn’t convince Klopp to make the same mistake in overlooking a left-back signing for the second summer in a row. It should be one of a few priorities for Liverpool this summer.
So, here are some left-backs that the Reds should look to sign!
