Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Shrewsbury Town has sold out, the club have confirmed.
The Reds entertain their League One opponents in a fourth round replay on Tuesday evening, following a 2-2 draw at New Meadow on January 26th.
Although Jurgen Klopp and his senior players will not be present, a full Anfield crowd will witness events unfold on Merseyside, as the two sides battle to face Chelsea in the fifth round.
Neil Critchley will take charge of a young team – one that is set to include the likes of Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott.
While some may have expected supporters to stay away from the game, the fact that it is a sell-out suggests otherwise.
It is a contrast to Manchester City, with empty seats often seen at the Etihad during far bigger matches, including Champions League games and Manchester derbies.
These Liverpool fans have mocked their Premier League rivals in the process, taking to Twitter to air their views.

City has 20,000 empty seats for their Carabao Cup semi vs Burton last year. Our U23 match against Shrewsbury sells out. Levels
