Origi drops hint on Bundesliga move

Liverpool forward Divock Origi, who is currently on loan at Wolfsburg, has dropped big clues about where his future lies beyond this season.

The Belgium international seems to be enjoying life in Germany, having netting four goals in 12 matches for the Bundesliga club this season. Speaking to the Bundesliga website about what lies ahead for him beyond this season, the 22 year-old expressed his thoughts.

When speaking about where he sees the situation at its current stage he said,

The agreement is for the loan to expire at the end of the season. Then I’ll return to Liverpool because I have a good relationship with the club and also with the fans.

But as I said, you never know what will happen. Right now, I am very happy at Wolfsburg and I’m developing well. It’s a great fit.

He continued by adding:

I like the soul of the league. Football is a way of life here, there are fantastic fans and great stadiums.

The atmosphere is unique. The league is very well organised. That impressed me a lot.

The pathway for Origi appears to be blocked with Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Dom Solanke all above him in the pecking order for the Reds’ up front.
