Robbie Keane has heaped praise on ‘phenomenal’ Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian forward hasn’t been short of praise over the last 12 months, and the former Reds striker was keen to add his opinion to the mix.
Salah initially struggled for consistent game time on his debut season in English football with Chelsea, but he excelled last season, scoring 32 times in 36 Premier League appearances.
The 26-year old got the new season off to a good start too, scoring the first goal in Liverpool’s opening day 4-0 win over West Ham.
Talking to Pyramids TV about Salah’s performances so far, as reported by Kingfut, Keane said:
The fact that Salah went to Italy and was able to shine with both Fiorentina and Roma and then come back to England and produce the performances he did with Liverpool, it’s just phenomenal.
He [Salah] kept looking for a chance to show his qualities as a player and he certainly found it at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp. The way they play definitely suits his style.
