Liverpool stretched their Premier League win streak to 13 games as they beat Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The comprehensive victory for Jurgen Klopp’s side sees them top of the Premier League table at the turn of the international break, having picked up 12 points from four games.
In what could have been a potential banana-skin for the Reds, they produced an impressive performance that allowed Burnley very little chance of getting something from the game.
The win saw Roberto Firmino become the first Brazilian to score 50 Premier League goals, while an own goal from Chris Wood and a clinical Sadio Mané strike had previously given the Reds a comfortable lead.
From a defensive perspective, it is the Reds’ first clean sheet of the season. Adrian probably had his quietest game in goal so far this season, with Liverpool’s defence limiting chances for Sean Dyche’s side.
After the comfortable win at Turf Moor, we pick out three players who starred for the Reds.
