Bevis Mugabi was a teammate of Sadio Mane during his time at Premier League club Southampton.
The 24-year-old right-back currently plays for Scottish Premiership side Motherwell and has his eyes set on a big move to Liverpool in the future.

The Uganda international recently came up against Mane in the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations, with the Liverpool man scoring the only goal of the game to help Senegal advance.
As quoted on HITC, former Yeovil Town man Mugabi said about Mane and Liverpool:
I played against Sadio Mane in the last 16 of the African Cup of Nations and that was a good experience. I think he’s still in my pocket! Maybe it will get me a move to Liverpool.
I was at Southampton with him as well, so I’ve seen his progression from being at Southampton to make that step up to Liverpool, and now he’s probably one of the best players in the world.
I definitely feel that I have the attributes to make that step up too. I just need the right coaching, and I feel like I’ve developed here as a player already with the gaffer’s style of play.

Slightly ambitious from Mugabi. His claim about having Mane in his pocket also seems unusual because Mane proved to be the match-winner with his goal.
It’s nice to see players dreaming to play for Liverpool because it shows how highly-rated the club is.
It seems for the moment, Mugabi isn’t anywhere near a Liverpool move but if he keeps improving and performing well, then his dream may just come true.
