Four Liverpool players have been called up for Gareth Southgate’s England squad to face Switzerland and Spain next month.
Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander Arnold return from the World Cup squad the valiantly made the Semi-Finals in Russia this Summer.
However, there are returns for Joe Gomez and Adam Lallana, both who missed the tournament in Russia due to injury.
Gomez has made a return to the Liverpool squad since his injury, but Adam Lallana has yet to start for the Reds so far this season.
Henderson was a key part of the squad in Russia, captaining the side when Harry Kane wasn’t on the pitch.
Trent Alexander Arnold failed to make much of an impact but is firmly in Gareth Southgate’s plans.
England take on Spain and Switzerland in the new UEFA Nations League, with Gareth Southgate’s side matching up with Spain at Wembley, before facing Switzerland at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.
