Liverpool’s recent history with Burnley is a short but colourful one.
In their first crack at the Premier League, the Clarets went up and straight back down again in 2009/10.
Under Sean Dyche, however, they have now entered their fourth consecutive season in the top division.
Generally unchallenged, the Reds have won 15 of their last 20 games against Burnley, dating back to 1975, with just one Premier League loss thrown in.
To start the season, the fixture list has been similar for the two sides.
Burnley thumped Southampton 3-0 on the opening day, lost 2-1 to Arsenal and then drew 1-1 with Wolves.
They’re one of nine teams sitting on four points after three games.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are top of the table having beaten both Southampton and Arsenal, as well as Norwich City on the opening night of the campaign.
None of those three aforementioned opponents possess the defensive reputation of Burnley, though.
From hard-fought victories to goals galore, there are a few past meetings to choose from, but what is Liverpool’s best Premier League win over Burnley at Turf Moor?
Here how we rank them…
