Liverpool produced one of the greatest comebacks in football history on Tuesday night by overturning a three-goal deficit with a 4-0 victory against Barcelona at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp was without the injured Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, with Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri coming into the starting line-up.
It was Origi who opened the scoring for the hosts on nine minutes, before Anfield witnessed a second-half that will go down in history on Merseyside.
Georginio Wijnaldum replaced the injured Andy Robertson at half-time and found the back of the net twice in three second-half minutes to level the tie at 3-3.
Origi then netted his second of the game after turning Trent Alexander-Arnold’s quick corner beyond Marc-André ter Stegen.
Liverpool held on to the 4-3 aggregate scoreline and will now face either Tottenham or Ajax in the final on June 1.
Klopp led the celebrations at the full-time whistle, with all the players joining in with the club’s You’ll Never Walk Alone anthem in front of an emotional Kop.
