Gallery: Things Liverpool need to do to beat Watford

Liverpool take on Watford in the Premier League’s late kick-off on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently 22 points clear at the top of the table and could end the weekend 25 points ahead of Manchester City, who don’t have a league game due to their participation in the Carabao Cup final.

The last time the Reds faced Watford, Mohamed Salah netted a double at Anfield in Nigel Pearson’s first match in charge of the Hornets.

However, the visitors caused Klopp’s side plenty of problems and should have scored on multiple occasions, but poor finishing let them down.

The Merseyside club coasted to victory in this fixture last season, winning 3-0 after goals from Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino.

Klopp has admitted that his side need to be wary of the threat that Watford will pose this weekend and we believe there are a few things that the Reds need to do to ensure a positive result at Vicarage Road.

Below, we’ve listed some of them.
