Liverpool could be about to be handed a potential boost in the title race in the form of an injury to Sergio Aguero.
The forward was taken off in the 77th minute of Manchester City’s win over Chelsea, appearing to hobble off the pitch.
Speaking to The BBC after the game, Guardiola said this about the knock:
Sergio will be bad, I think. Tomorrow we will know it. The feeling is it’s muscular.

No one wants a player to get injured, of course, even if they are from a rival side. However, there is no denying that this would come as a boost to Liverpool if it turns out to be a long-term issue for the Argentine international.
Aguero is Manchester City’s top goalscorer this season with 13 goals and has scored 30 or more goals for the club in five of his eight seasons in England. He has also scored 20 or more goals in six of his eight Premier League campaigns for Manchester City, cementing his place as one of the best forwards in the division – which makes losing him a huge loss for City depending on how long he is out for.
We have already seen the impact losing Aymeric Laporte and Leroy Sane has had on Guardiola’s side, so Aguero would only further weaken Liverpool’s challengers.
