Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Rodri will miss Manchester City’s crucial Premier League clash with Liverpool next month.
The Reds entertain the champions at Anfield on November 10th, in what could be a pivotal day in the title race.

Rodri limped out of City’s 5-1 thrashing of Atalanta on Tuesday night, but it was unsure how long he would be out for after the game.
Speaking on Friday, however, Guardiola said he expects his countryman to be out until after the international break.

This is another major blow for City, with defensive injury problems mounting for them.
Midfielder Rodri has been playing at centre-back due to the absence of Aymeric Laporte, so his absence is set to hit Guardiola’s men hard.
Liverpool should be feeling confident because of this, with the front-three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino capable of wreaking havoc up against any makeshift defence.
When the match rolls around, the Reds must be ruthless and ensure they avoid defeat, at the very worst.
