Kai Havertz is one of Europe’s most highly-rated young players, with some tipping him to be the best German footballer of his generation.
The 20-year-old continues to impress for Bayer Leverkusen, but reports surrounding his future are not going away.
Liverpool have been loosely linked with acquiring Havertz’s signature next summer, as he looks for a fresh challenge in his career.
Speaking to Marca, the attacking midfielder hinted that he could move on from Leverkusen in the near future, and away from Germany:
I think I’ve picked up enough international experience at Leverkusen.
I know the rhythm of these international matches and I’m confident that I can go abroad at any moment and play at clubs outside of Germany.
For the moment, I want to have a good season. Afterwards, we’ll see.

If Liverpool managed to get a deal for Havertz over the line it would be a superb piece of business.
Bayern Munich arguably remain favourites to sign him, despite the thought of leaving his homeland appealing to the youngster, but the Reds should appeal to any player in the world currently.
In the past, the thought of snapping up such a huge talent would have been nothing more than a pipe dream, but Liverpool can attract the very best these days.
His arrival would feel like a huge statement of intent.
