Jordan Henderson is back in training ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday, having returned to full fitness.
The Reds captain missed England’s clash with Kosovo through illness, having been suspended for the game against Montenegro.
Henderson returned to Liverpool early and the Telegraph claim that he is now in the running to start this weekend.
The 29-year-old played a starring role in the Reds’ 3-1 victory over Manchester City last time around, crossing brilliantly for Sadio Mane to score.

Henderson’s form was disappointing earlier in the season, but he has found his groove again in recent weeks.
Although Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is pushing hard for a start at Selhurst Park, Jurgen Klopp is likely to stick with his skipper.
His physical presence and work ethic could be important at a tough ground, with Oxlade-Chamberlain’s dynamism potentially key from the substitutes’ bench.
These are the games where Henderson can occasionally frustrate, though, so he is under pressure to perform.
