Jordan Henderson has handed Liverpool a huge injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid, according to the Daily Mail.
The Reds host the La Liga giants on Wednesday evening, looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit and make it into the quarter-finals.
Henderson has been out since injuring his hamstring in the first leg, but he is expected to return to the squad tomorrow.
The Liverpool captain trained on both Sunday and Monday, stepping up his recovery significantly.

While Henderson’s return is an obvious positive, Jurgen Klopp has a dilemma on his hands when it comes to the midfielder.
Throwing him back into a game of such magnitude could be a risk, considering the rustiness that could be on show, affecting the whole team’s performance.
You only have to look at Fabinho’s continued struggles since returning to see that starting Henderson might not make total sense, with the Brazilian still searching for his top form. He has failed to score above a 6.5 on WhoScored in his last two matches.
The skipper’s influence has been enormous this season, however, and he could make all the difference in a huge game.
Klopp must weight up whether or not he feels Henderson is 100 per cent ready for a real battle, or if he can just be a difference-maker from the bench.
I would personally go with Fabinho, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner on Wednesday, which is nothing against Henderson’s brilliance this season. They will bring experience and quality to the side, on what could be a nerve-wracking night.
