How did Liverpool’s loan players perform this weekend?

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino were the heroes for Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, as Jurgen Klopp’s side battled to a 2-1 victory away to Southampton.

Former Reds striker Danny Ings was gifted a goal by stand-in goalkeeper Adrian, but it didn’t stop the visitors claiming all three points in the Premier League.

But how did Liverpool’s players out on loan do in their matches for their teams this week?

Here’s our weekly roundup.

Harry Wilson – Bournemouth

Wilson started on the right-hand side for Bournemouth and scored from long-range, as his side beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park. Not bad for a debut.

The Welshman made way for former Red Dominic Solanke in the 76th minute.

Bournemouth moved up to sixth place after two games in the Premier League.
