Liverpool are monitoring the progress of Valencia star Ferran Torres, according to the Mirror’s David Maddock.
The 20-year-old is also being watched by Barcelona and Real Madrid, however, following an impressive season.
The Spain U21 international could leave Valencia this summer, with the Reds keen admirers of his ability.
It is claimed that Liverpool have watched Torres since he was 17, and will continue to do so.

I see Torres as a potential replacement for Xherdan Shaqiri, who is expected to leave Anfield this summer.
Capable of playing on either flank and possessing more aerial presence than the Swiss star – he has won an average of 2.3 aerial duels per game in the Champions League this season – he could prove to be a better back-up to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
At just 20, Torres could also be a long-term replacement for either of the pair, should he continue on his current trajectory. He has four goals and assists apiece in the league in 2019/20, despite his tender years.
The youngster is unlikely to come cheap, with a €90 million fee mooted, but judging by his numbers so far, he could add depth and quality to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
