Loris Karius has said he’s not thinking about his Liverpool future at the moment, as the Besiktas keeper is looking to focus on the upcoming Europa League campaign with his loan club.
The 26-year-old has not played a competitive match since his mistakes cost Jurgen Klopp’s side the 2018 Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Speaking to Star, as cited on the Liverpool Echo, about the chances of return to Anfield next summer, Karius kept his cards close to his chest and insisted he is fully focused on his current challenge at Besiktas.

I’m not thinking about it at the moment. There’s still a long way to go before my loan spell ends. I am focusing on matches, my performances. We will talk about it at the end of the season.
Should the German goalkeeper be given another chance at Anfield, or is it time both parties moved on?

I can’t see a future at Anfield for Karius, the mistakes he made in Kiev were almost unforgivable and I don’t he will ever get over them.
The Reds themselves have also moved on. With the signing of Alisson, who is only 26 years of age, Liverpool have a goalkeeper for at least the next five years, maybe more.
The anxiety that Karius would bring to the crowd if he ever played again is something that Klopp surely wouldn’t want to put on the rest of his players.
Although Liverpool might be in the market for a back-up goalkeeper next season, I can’t see the club looking to bring Karius back as the number two.
I think Liverpool will look to do a permanent deal next summer so both the club and the player can move on.
