Ryan Kent will be a great signing for Rangers, but Liverpool have not lost out by selling him and he will never reach Eden Hazard’s level.
The 22-year-old has made a permanent switch from Anfield to Ibrox, having shone at the Scottish Premiership giants last season.
Speaking to the Daily Record, former Rangers man Kyle Lafferty has tipped Kent to have a Hazard-like influence for Steven Gerrard’s side:
After one game last season I spoke to Ryan in the showers. People were raving about Eden Hazard and his ability to know what he’s going to do before the ball comes to him.
I said to Kenty, ‘Mate, you could be as good as him, if not better.’
He has everything in his locker. He could probably add a few more goals but the chances he creates and winning games is what he does. I’m excited already to see him play.

Kent is a very talented young player who has always had huge potential, both in Liverpool’s academy and elsewhere.
The Reds have made no error whatsoever in selling him, however, and they won’t fear him ever proving them wrong.
Put simply, Kent is not at the level required to thrive for a Champions League-winning Liverpool side, and as he approaches his 23rd birthday, that will never change.
A move to Rangers suited all parties and he will continue to be one of the Scottish Premiership’s more influential individuals.
To compare him with Hazard is ludicrous, though.
