Klopp to jet into England as speculation grows

Jürgen Klopp is about to travel to England to visit some Premier League clubs as he steps up his search for a new job, reports German newspaper Bild.

The 48-year-old is out of work at the moment having left Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season following seven successful years in charge.

Both Klopp and former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti have been linked with the Liverpool job in recent weeks as the pressure continues to grow in current Reds’ boss Brendan Rodgers.

Bild have also claimed that Klopp turned down a chance to work in Mexico, which has only further intensified speculation that a move to England could be on the cards.

While in charge at Dortmund, Klopp lifted two Bundesliga titles back-to-back, as well as winning the DFB-Pokal and the DFL-Supercup.

The former Mainz player and manager also guided Dortmund to a Champions League final, where they lost out to Bayern Munich.

Reds’ boss Rodgers, in his fourth season in charge, is yet to bring silverware to Anfield.
