Martin Odegaard is having an excellent season on loan at Real Sociedad, showing signs of reaching his potential.
The Norwegian was seen as a wonderkid during his early teens, making the move to Real Madrid at the age of just 16.
He disappeared for a while, but now 20, he is catching the eye with his performances in La Liga.
According to Don Balon, via Empire of the Kop, “Jurgen Klopp has already contacted Odegaard’s father who now agrees a summer 2020 move to Anfield is best for his client and son.”
The report claims that the attacking midfielder could head to Anfield next summer, as he looks to leave Madrid permanently.

Odegaard was rated extremely highly for a reason during his teens and it is great to see him thriving this season.
He is definitely a player worth taking a punt on, considering the vast potential he has.
At 20, his career is still in its infancy and Liverpool would be the perfect place for him to ply his trade.
Odegaard is valued at £18 million by Transfermarkt, which sounds like a steal.
