Jones’ stunning curler sealed a 1-0 victory for the Reds, in what was the best moment of his career to date.

The midfielder has been highly-rated at Liverpool’s academy for a number of years, with many tipping him to become a regular for his boyhood club eventually.

Someone who is predicting huge things for the teenager is Klopp, who gushed over his player after Sunday’s win, saying he could become a great of the game:

Let me speak about Curtis. Unbelievable player, Scouser, very confident, can’t wait to play in the first team. Rightly so. He is in a very good way, I’ve known him for three-and-a half years.

He has made big steps, he will be a Liverpool player if nothing strange happens 100%.

I’m not surprised he scored that kind of goal. He has still things to learn and improve, but you sometimes forget, and we forget it in training, that he is only 18. Unbelievable.

While the Reds already have an abundance of top midfielders in the squad, there is no reason why the youngster can’t become a key man over time.

Sunday’s winner will only help his development and build his legend, as he looks to forge a memorable career at Liverpool.
