Curtis Jones won’t be going out on loan this month, according to Football Insider.
The 18-year-old enjoyed a day to treasure on Saturday, with his superb strike earning Liverpool a 1-0 win over Everton in the FA Cup third round.
Jones’ all-round performance suggested he could be a handy squad player for Jurgen Klopp this season, whether it be his physicality or his supreme natural talent.
This latest report claims Klopp has ‘made it clear’ that Jones is going nowhere in January, having been linked with a move to Swansea City and Leeds United.

This is the right decision by Klopp, even though he already has a host of midfielders to choose from.
Unlike Rhian Brewster, for example, the youngster looks like he is ready to thrive at first-team level for Liverpool.
Playing him wouldn’t feel like a risk, as his mature performances against Arsenal and Everton this season have shown.
Jones isn’t yet ready to play regularly, but appearances from the substitutes’ bench could come in handy.
He is a special talent, and with some of the Reds’ midfielders not getting younger, namely James Milner (34), Jordan Henderson (29) and Gini Wijnaldum (29), he could become more key over time.
