Lallana withdrew from England’s squad for this week’s friendlies with a groin injury, and is set for a couple of weeks on the treatment table.
Speaking to Paul Joyce, Lallana hopes to be back before the end of the month and feels that he can make a good contribution over the course of the season.

The midfielder was only able to make 15 appearances in all competitions last season, with 11 coming in the Premier League.
He has been plagued with injuries over the past year, after a couple of successful seasons for Liverpool.
Lallana made 84 appearances across the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, scoring 15 goals in all competitions.
