Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is set to make his comeback from injury next month.
Lallana was initially expected to be out until at least November but could now be back as early as the middle of October.
According to The Liverpool Echo, Lallana has made very good progress with his injury and is in a good place at the moment.
He went off injured against Atletico Madrid in August during a pre-season friendly and is yet to feature in the Premier League for Liverpool this season.
The report claims that he will start work outside on the pitch at Melwood next week as he steps up his rehab.
The England international is then expected to make his way back into the first-team set-up at some point next month.
He could have to play for the under-23 side first to build-up his match fitness before he can be considered for selection by Jurgen Klopp.
