Yasser Larouci is an injury doubt for Liverpool’s FA Cup fourth round replay at home to Shrewsbury Town next Tuesday.
The left-back limped off for the Reds’ Under-23s on Wednesday evening, in their 2-2 draw away to Wolves in the Premier League International Cup.
The Liverpool Echo report that a scan will determine the severity of Larouci’s hamstring issue.

I believe Larouci was a certainty to start against Shrewsbury, due to featuring prominently in last weekend’s game and the win over Everton in the third round, but a hamstring injury of any kind can mean a spell on the sidelines.
While this would be a blow to Liverpool stand-in manager Neil Critchley next week, I think it will provide a great opportunity for Adam Lewis to shine.
The youngster was flourishing last season, but I believe his progress has stalled after missing four months of action with a knee ligament injury picked up in September.
The former Under-18s captain possesses a wand of a left foot and precise set-piece delivery, both of which I hope to see on show when Shrewsbury make the trip to Anfield.
Lewis will see Larouci’s potential absence as a major chance to stake a claim, on a night when youngsters take centre stage.
