The Reds hold a 17-point advantage over the champions, prior to their trip to Arsenal on Sunday.
Liverpool’s relentless quest to finally end the wait for league glory continued on Saturday, following their 2-0 win at home to Watford.
Many are of the opinion that Jurgen Klopp’s men are already too far ahead of City and Fernandinho seemingly agrees.
Speaking prior to his side’s clash with Arsenal, the Brazilian conceded defeat in the title race:

Fernandinho’s comments may be an attempt at reverse psychology, with City more than capable of going on an unstoppable winning run.
Klopp and his players won’t get carried away at any point, remaining professional as the campaign progresses.
