Liverpool has officially revealed the squad numbers for Brazilian newcomers Fabinho and Alisson Becker.
Goalkeeper Alisson will aim to hoist the Liverpool defence wearing the No.13 this season after joining from Roma for a renowned fee of £67m.
‘A. Becker’ will be imprinted onto the keeper’s shirt.
His compatriot, Fabinho, purchased from AS Monaco, will wear the No.3 jersey in his rise to prominence this year at Anfield, which will start on home soil against West Ham on Super Sunday.
Spectators from all over will be eager to see the real magnitude of the investments made by Klopp this summer window and with the opponents (West Ham) also spending big on the offensive assets.
It will be interesting to see the second most expensive goalkeeper, Alisson, accompanied by Dutch centre-half – Virgil van Dijk, the most expensive defender in the world. An imperial armoury that creates air for the expectation to achieve great things this season.
Rhian Brewster will also feature, given the No.24 shirt.
