Liverpool are expected to earn at least £25 million for the services of Xherdan Shaqiri this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 28-year-old joined the Reds from Stoke City in the summer of 2018, but he has struggled to feature regularly.
There have been good moments thrown in, most notably a double against Manchester United in December 2018, but injuries and form have curtailed his progress.
Shaqiri is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with the bidding set to start at £25 million.

Should the Reds manage to sell the Switzerland star for that amount, it would be another superb piece of business by sporting director Michael Edwards. Shaqiri only cost Liverpool £13 million – his release clause at Stoke – meaning he could leave for nearly double that amount in the summer.
Considering the diminutive forward turns 29 this year and struggles to stay fit, that would be fantastic work from Edwards. Transfermarkt only value the forward at £18 million.
He has done wonders for the club’s transfer business, bringing in the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk for what have proven to be bargain fees.
Jurgen Klopp is clearly the driving force behind Liverpool’s great success currently, but Edwards is also playing a major role behind the scenes.
