Liverpool eyeing up January move for Thorgan Hazard

Liverpool are eyeing up the signing of Thorgan Hazard in January, reports Liga Financial.

The Belgian, brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard, has been in superb form for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists.

The report states that Jurgen Klopp is considering a move next month, as he looks to add options in the final third ahead of a busy second-half of 2018/19.

Hazard is thought to have a release clause of £26million – an amount that is arguably seen as a bargain, considering his form – with his current deal in Germany expiring in 2020.

Manchester United and Everton are also rumoured to be interested in acquiring the attacking midfielder, although the player may prefer a return to Chelsea.

Hazard left the Blues to join Monchengladbach in 2015, having never made a first-team appearance at Stamford Bridge.

The idea of linking up with his older brother is likely to appeal, although there is constant speculation surrounding his own future, too.

The 25-year-old has won 19 caps for his Belgium since his debut in 2013, scoring three times.
