Alisson is expected to start against Manchester United this weekend, making a long-awaited return to Liverpool’s starting lineup.
The 27-year-old hasn’t played for the Reds since injuring his calf against Norwich City back in August, during which time Adrian has been an able deputy.
Liverpool’s official Twitter account posted a photo of Alisson back in training on Tuesday – a heartwarming image for any Reds supporter.
These fans were left delighted, expressing their happiness at such a key man being available again.

For all of Adrian’s excellence between the sticks for his new club, Alisson’s return is a huge positive for Liverpool.
There was no better goalkeeper in the world last season and he brings an aura that calms everyone around him.
Liverpool haven’t looked quite as secure defensively without the Brazilian around, even though they have won every Premier League game this season.
There is the risk of rustiness, especially in such a huge game, but Alisson’s influence will hopefully be vast on Sunday afternoon.
Then again, it would be ideal for him not to be tested at all.
