Rafa Benitez was on fine form on Monday evening, joining Jamie Carragher in the studio for Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
The two Liverpool legends shared some fascinating conversations throughout the night, whether it be dissecting the Miracle of Istanbul or how to beat this current Reds side.
Another topic they discussed was the vacant Everton job, following the sacking of Marco Silva.
Benitez failed to rule out the idea of becoming the new Toffees manager, despite having great respect for Liverpool.
Carragher further stoked the fire on Twitter, suggesting he may be the next man in charge across Stanley Park:

These Liverpool supporters have been worried by Benitez’s comments, given how highly they rate him.

Read Liverpool Verdict
It would be interesting to see what happened if Benitez did join Everton, in terms of his reputation at Anfield.
He remains loved there to this day – rightly so, following such a memorable six-year spell in charge of the Reds.
Liverpool fans shouldn’t want Benitez anywhere near Everton, because of the risk of him transforming the club.
