Van Dijk has to be the overriding favourite to win the main prize, with the 28-year-old unrivalled over the past 12 months.
Alexander-Arnold also has a great chance of winning back-to-back Rising Star gongs, as he continues to mature into a world-class footballer.
It is also a proud achievement for Bradley-Auckland and Rodgers, as the women’s team goes from strength to strength.
