Liverpool fans are furious with pundit’s comments about Boxing Day clash

Liverpool’s Boxing Day clash with Leicester City has caused plenty of uproar in recent days.

The Reds will play the Foxes at the King Power Stadium at 8pm, causing potential travel mayhem for the travelling supporters.

It is further proof of fans being overlooked in favour of television companies – a sad constant in the modern game.

Someone who doesn’t seem too concerned about the situation is Jason Cundy – a Chelsea fan, conveniently – who took to talkSPORT to air his views, essentially telling Liverpool supporters to get on with it.

Unsurprisingly, these fans have not reacted well to Cundy’s comments, letting their feelings be known on Twitter.

Cundy’s comments are horribly naive, showing how detached he has become from the game.

Football without supporters is nothing, but in his book, away fans should simply deal with it and not go to the game if it’s such an awful situation.

We should never be in the position where individuals are having to make the decision not to go and watch their team play – that’s the point Cundy is completely missing.
